Housekeeping was efficient, ensuring that my room remained tidy and inviting. I'd certainly highlight their attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. The breakfast exceeded my expectations - freshly made with local ingredients, it surpassed the average fare found elsewhere. This was indeed a treat worth savoring. And if you're planning to dine in, Angela is an incredible cook; her dinner offerings are definitely worth considering. As someone passionate about wildlife and guiding, I understand the value of a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. The Alpen provides a nice balance between luxury and value. While a bit of a splurge, the overall experience with amenities like free Wi-Fi and a cozy lounge area makes it a favorable choice for travelers seeking an authentic experience with a touch of home. I would gladly return for another stay.
